Sage's Ravine in Mt. Washington, MA

Directions:  Take Rt. 41 to Sheffield and continue through to Egremont.  Once you're just south of Egremont turn RIGHT onto Mt. Washington Road, continue onto East St. (it will become a dirt road eventually) continue following it to the MA/CT border. About 100 feet before the sign(MA side), there is a large dirt lot owned by AMC. Park there for Sage's Ravine. [CT side, the lot is 100 feet after the sign]

It is a damp, rocky place that is almost always shrouded by shade.
Sage's Ravine is an east to west ravine that was created by the brook flowing through the area.

There are approximately 1.5 miles of trails
that can be completed in 1 hour
at a very brisk pace.

To fully enjoy the beauty of this location, leave yourself an hour or two (at most) to complete this modest hike.  The most difficult part is the hike up and out of the ravine.
