Snow Hole in Williamstown, MA


Directions: From Rt 7 in Williamstown, turn RIGHT onto Rt 2 west at the Taconic Park Restaurant, (approximately halfway between the Store at 5 Corners and the Williams Inn) Road is known locally as the Taconic Trail. When you reach the top of the hill you will enter Petersburgh, NY and you'll come    to a large dirt parking lot on the left. Park there and cross the road to access the trailhead.

Beginning with the trailhead there is a relatively steep section of trail, but when you see the sign for Hopkins Forest be sure to congratulate yourself for you have conquered the most strenuous part of the hike
